Got the new cable, but it won’t switch on? Any ideas?

Just plugged the old cable back in again - powers up fine with the light on.

one thing to check on mine, i use the type C connector to the MB , it needs to be pushed home quite firmly ... until there is a click. otherwise RMA it ...

I love the G2 unit visually but hoping lessons will be learned for the G3 in terms of reliability of the cabling etc. Also feel the plug going into the “hub” of the cable is a less than ideal solution because of wear and tear etc…

Yeah you got a bad one. I know shutting it off you gotta hold down for 3 seconds. At least they’re sending another one. 
 

did you try another outlet ?
