SkHiTech
hi everybody, I'm curious about what this outstanding system will give us once it will be released, I am asking you all what features we should expect for our 2007 Viper version because I simply don't know Will it be powerful as its A10CII counterpart? Less? More? Thank you all. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Furiz
As per info on the Viper roadmap: Integration of the HMCS with Radar Warning Receiver, Link 16, and AG mode (HARM, IAM, DTOS, and Maverick) as well as AA mode Edited September 1, 2021 by Furiz
AvroLanc
It’ll be roughly equivalent to the helmet in the Hornet. Major differences being the ability to create mark points with a few less button presses and the ability to slave the Maverick seeker LOS directly with minimal fuss. No colour obviously and overall less SA generally than the A10C II.
SkHiTech
wow sounds great! You think it will be handy like on A10C the wingman information exchange for Vipers too? Link 16 should work similar way, right? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Link 16 should work similar way, right? No, that’s not a feature, are you still referring to JHMCS? You don’t get the blue lines showing flight member SPI etc. You should be able to share/send/receive waypoints(markpoints) over LINK 16 though. It’s all part of the HSD features. You can also designate a datalink AA/AG track as a primary datalink track of interest. This would then be highlighted within a hexagon symbol on the JHMCS and I think the HUD also. 1
