Skwirl865 Posted September 2, 2021 Posted September 2, 2021 Want to make joystick gremlin profiles and want a full list of all the controls for the f-16 and f-18. I think that would really help a struggling newb learning his first high fidelity module.
Lynchsl62 Posted September 2, 2021 Posted September 2, 2021 That is realtively easy, in the controls screen for the selected aircraft click on the button "Make HTML". This will create a HTML download folder in: C:\Users\XXXXX\Saved Games\DCS\InputLayoutsTxt\FA-18C_hornet Like this I then opened the keyboard file in the webroweser seledcted all, CTRL+A and then pasted into Excel DCS Keyboard Commands.xlsx 2 PC: 9980XE @ 64GB RAM /2080Ti, Samsung C49RG90 Joystick bases: VKB GFIII, FSSB R3L, Brunner CLS-E, Virpil Mongoos CM2 Joystick grips: Realsimulator (F-18CGRH, F-16SGRH-CE), VKB (MCG Pro, F-14, KG-12), Virpil Warbrd Throttles: Virpil CM2, Kantorrin, Other: TrackIR, TM MFDx2 (Cubesim Screenx2), Virpil Control Panel 1
Heyjax Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 It no longer has the options below the control page. I’ve even removed and reinstalled DCS with no luck. I'm running the beta version, could that be the problem?
Lange_666 Posted December 5, 2021 Posted December 5, 2021 It should have the option, i still have the Make HTML in both stable and latest OB: Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. HwyStar Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 At the top of the Active Controls window, select the device you want to capture (stick, throttle) and click on the down arrow next to the device name. You will see "Make HTML" at the bottom of the drop-down. I hope this answers your questions! I am using the Open Beta version. 1 LG C1 65", NZXT BLD, i9-12900K, 32G 4400MHz, RTX 3080, WinWing Orion2 w/ F-16EX Grip, TM Warthog Throttle, StreamDeck XL, Virpil Rudders, Tobii 5

I had used the Make HTML before and found it pretty much useless. It just dumps out a table for each device with a table of all the possible commands in DCS that can be assigned. Instead it would be nice to dump a similar table with all of the devices in their own column, and not in HTML but in Excel format. I have Adobe account so tried their PDF to Excel converter, did not quite work correctly, so going with HTML to PDF PDF to Photoshop then blend the files with columns LOL. Kind of a pain. But I think I can make a workable table for reference. edit: LOL. made Numbers file added enough rows and columns to match output then simply did Copy from the Webbrowser and pasted into Numbers and made Spread sheet.
