WelshZeCorgi Posted September 6, 2021 Posted September 6, 2021 In the ARGO campaign, first mission, I was told to fly heading 120 after leaving the boat and I did. After half an hour, I realized something was wrong and found that 120 on the HSI was more like 190 on the TACVIEW. Not sure if this is a bug or you're supposed to calibrate the HSI before takeoff.

Are you starting in cold helicopter? If so, did you allign HSI with magnetic compass?
WelshZeCorgi Posted September 7, 2021 Author Posted September 7, 2021 It is cold start, but I'm not sure how to align mag compass, the start up tutorial in DCS doesn't mention it.
Sabre_Ewan Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 In the top right corner of the HSI there's a little circular window. In the bottom right (I think... the one that isn't set heading) there's a little knob that rotates the compass. Rotate that knob until the two compasses match, and in the circular window you should see half x, half circle. 1
