gav88888 Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 (edited) Hi, I have 2 PCs that I use for DCS, my gaming PC and a laptop I use for building missions. I updated to 2.7 but my laptop isn’t compatible (it doesnt like the gpu) So I have reinstalled 2.5.6, however since installing again the Persian Gulf map no longer appears in my download section to download. I also have the FA18 which I have downloaded and SU33, but the map doesn’t appear. If i find the map to select it says I need to purchase it. I am using the same account on both PCs, and never had an issue before updating to 2.7. I have plenty of free space to download/install the map. Any idea guys? Thanks Edited September 16, 2021 by gav88888
Flappie Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 Hi. Delete this folder : "...\DCS World( OpenBeta)\Mods\terrains\PersianGulf" then start DCS. The terrain should reappear in the module manager. 1 ---
gav88888 Posted September 18, 2021 Author Posted September 18, 2021 Thanks for the reply, but that folder doesn’t exist. When I installed 2.5.6 again it was a clean install, all previous folders where deleted.
draconus Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 (edited) Check the installed modules in the manager. Use DCS repair. Use clean profile - the one in saved games. Can you upload dcs.log? gav88888 Posted September 18, 2021 Author Posted September 18, 2021 Actually this might not be an issue anymore. I uninstalled 2.5.6 to try another clean install but now I can't download 2.5.6 as its been removed from the previous versions list.... So no more DCS.
