RogueRunner Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 In the mozzie the left motor should be the critical engine. In my tests Vmc always happened at the same speed regardless of which engine was failed. . With the left engine failed it should have been much higher than it was for the right engine failed. 1 1 With the price of ammunition these days do not expect a warning shot.

pierrewind Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 (edited) Tested here. VMCA and critical engine does actually appears to be modelled. Right engine off, VMCA was found right at about 98 MPH Left engine off, VMCA was found right at about 110 MPH To me, that shows a correct behaviour in terms of the critical engine. HOWEVER... Feathering the propeller didn't actually make any difference to these numbers. Due to the added unfeathered prop drag, VMCA should increase in this situation. It wasn't the case. (Note: right engine didn't appear feathered as it did with the left engine; behaviour unchanged in both situations) Mosquito Right off.trk Mosquito Left off.trk Edited September 22, 2021 by pierrewind 1
