And somewhat annoying at time I'm sure, but more immersive. The edge of the radar returning image is pretty sharp even the range scale is like 60km. That's impressive. The edge is definitely sharper than the game. 1

It probably helps not having to worry about performance issues, there's probably a few more samples taken by the real radar than the one in-game. 1 Viggen is love. IronMike Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 I added it to the 60km tracker, but no promise. If it requires an extensive rework of "all things radar" we might pass on it, to put it carefully, in favor of a long list of important things still outstanding. But as always we'll take a look. MYSE1234 Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 @IronMike Another radar related feature that is missing, seemingly intentionally, is the wind compensated "forward line" when using the Rb04. Do you know why it was not implemented, and would it be possible to get it on the list of things to add? From one of the files from the AJS module: "Rb04 also show vertical line (which is wind compensated but we are not going to do that) and the min max lines should also be displayed". Viggen is love. If the real radar uses analog signal processing, it could potentially handle much more data and produce a sharper image than a digitally sampled implementation like the DCS Viggen. 1 "Subsonic is below Mach 1, supersonic is up to Mach 5. I would have to ask, but there is likely a good reason it was left out, usually being of the "too much hassle to develop for too little outcome" nature.
