DetroiTechno Posted September 23, 2021 Posted September 23, 2021 I have tried numerous planes during the free trials. I delete these planes from the mods folders if I don't choose to buy them. However... Every time I update DCS it downloads these planes again... then I need to delete them from the Mods/aircraft folder again. This is a time waster for me and a bandwidth waster for ED. Can anyone please tell me how to stop DCS from downloading expired trial planes again every time I update? Thanks! Kang Posted September 23, 2021 Posted September 23, 2021 Have you tried removing them from the in-game module manager instead of deleting the files themselves? 2

DetroiTechno Posted September 23, 2021 Author Posted September 23, 2021 I appreciate the replies! I just don't see where to remove them in-game. Module manager > Modules > the planes just say "buy". Module manager > Installed > the planes aren't there. Is there some other place in the module manager that I can remove them? Thanks for any help! silverdevil Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 there are checkboxes and sliders in the module manager. look in tabs MODULES and INSTALLED. you may need to run a repair if this does not work. DetroiTechno Posted September 27, 2021 Author Posted September 27, 2021 I manually deleted all the folders (again) with the last update. I will try to do it manually next time after they all download again. Thanks for the help! Solution DetroiTechno Posted September 30, 2021 Author Solution Posted September 30, 2021 Incremental update came in and was 10gb for me and it reinstalled all the planes again. Instead of deleting all the folders I deleted them from the module manager this time. Thanks for the help!
