Can't zoom camera

I fly in VR and have my VR that works fine. But when watching replays looking with the various outside views, the zoom functions don't work. I've tried to use the default ones and remapping them. Never zooms.

I can't really remember if you can zoom in VR. You can use the "spyglass" command (i think thats its name).

f you wanted to "get out and look at things" up close on the ground your best bet is to go to free camera mode and pan around whatever it is you are looking at.

I'm taking about zoom outisde of VR when you are watching replay,  F2,F3,F4 F11 ect. I've seen YouTube videos were they can zoom from those views.

Possibly a stupid question, but you're using * and / on the numpad, right?

Yes, and I've tried to rebind them too, doesn't matter what buttons i bind them to on the keyboard or my switches.

try pressing rctrl + numpad * or /

Appertnaly the zoom dosn't work in replay, it works fine when you fly live or watch a live flight, but dosn't work at all in replay.

Hmm... not sure what the problem is, but I don't think it's in DCS. I just tried a quick test, and it works just fine in Replay (both zoom and FOV).

 

I know this doesn't help with your specific issue, but it hopefully at least shows that it's not a hopeless/unsolvable problem.
