The yellow levels that control the rotor RPM next to the collective... what are they called in the controls menu? I've been looking for the key command to set them to auto power so I can continue with my ramp start, but I can't find the little beggers. Anyone able to help me? :joystick:

Cheers!

The yellow levers, are the RPM levers.. they bring you from the low rpm to the normal.

when you start your shark, and at 7000rpm, turn off APU and wait 1 second..... then hit Pg Up Two times... you will see yeloow you lever's move up 2 notche's to normal RPM (9000), that is what you need for Flight.

I go to low rpm when i have to go the room for the toilet. :)

In the game, they are referred to as the "throttle levers".

Also, RPM is in percentages, not in hundreds or thousands. That is, with the throttles at ground idle, the engine RPM is 70%, not 7000 rpm, at flight idle, they are at 90%.

For reference, 100% engine RPM is 19537.48 RPM on a TV3-117VM, I doubt the VMA's of the Ka-50 differ much from that.

They don't, those are the values for all TV3-117 family. The free turbine is rated at 100.2% which corresponds to 15000 RPM.

Roger that. I was curious so I was looking it up in our VM manuals, Book 3, distinguishing features of the TV3-117VM. ;)
