- Sonic -
I think you can do it programming a sort of auto-loop for the button you assing to lasing (for example for Saitek using the external software that can do it, if you have a Saitek obviously)

I read on another forum that you could set the time the laser would turn on on the lase portion of the DED but I couldn’t find it. If it’s not done in the actual viper then it shouldn’t be in the game. However, I thought this was a feature of the pod itself, maybe I’m wrong. Agree, if it's not in the real A/C then we shouldn't get it either. If it is a function of the pod itself then what we have ATM may not support it, but the Sniper XR pod we get further down the line may have this feature, I'm really not sure. As long as ED stick with authenticity then I'm ok with that. Rhinozherous
I thought this is a feature of the Lightning II Targeting Pod in real life... not that much of the Aircraft itself. Red Dog
Well sure enough there is a line missing from the DED LIST MISC LASER page for auto lase timer in DCS. Pretty sure the real F-16 can do auto lase when using the right pod obviously. The lasing system is part of the F-16 internal systems otherwise why would there a Laser arm switch on the MISC panel. Sure it can't fire any laser without the targeting pod, but lasing is settable in the F-16 system and the auto lase feature is missing from DCS. Hopefully implemented in the future Edited October 5, 2021 by Red Dog Have a Bandit Day Red Dog [sIGPIC] http://www.ravico.com/ST/perso/Sig_generale.png [/sIGPIC]
Slowdive
You could probably use JoyToKey and setup a toggle easily there. Now that someone has mentioned it, I think I'll do just that.
