Sherman, M60 and T-55 damage model

Seems the T-55, Sherman and M60 dont receive any damage but modern gun!
tired with Viper, Hornet and A-10, they are stronger than T-90!

 

A-10CII is using Combat mix, I tested Armor Piercing and SAPHEI with F-18 and F-16, achieved almost same results with min damage of 1% to 3%.

(used unlimited weapon to demonstrate the issue )

I would say that is quite reasonable unless you hit them almost perfectly perpendicularly from the top. Even their side armor is more than what a 20mm semi armor piercing round can deal with reliably.

 

A-10 on the other hand, should do a number on them.

yeah, i am comparing them to T-72 which is pretty advanced compare to T-55 and others, i dont know if you watched the tacview or not however I cant really kill them with even A-10!

Probably gonna get lynched for this but 

 

Looking at the figures it was designed to penetrate T65 armour from the side or behind. No chance of penetrating front armour, as far as T55 goes who knows. There’s a section in that video about the gulf war and how many times the gun was shot over the conflict. It seems they hardly used it preferring more stand-off weapons and the aircraft not being battle damaged and offline for weeks.
