I seem to have random instances where my mouse works with my headset off, but as soon as I put it on, the mouse stops working at all. I doesn't always happen, but it's random and I don't know what's causing it... I have a G2 headset and a corsair mouse.

Essentially the mouse is in the wrong window… each view is functionally a different logical window… if you want it back I find pressing the windows key on a controller works quite well and is quick to do.

to prevent from happening, put the headset on and don’t futz with the mouse in 2d

Sure, you're not in the mixed reality portal? You can change controls working on windows or the mixed reality portal by pressing windows-key + y

Other idea, turn DCS to full screen. Select the DCS window and press alt + enter

Had that same issue, basically windows disables your mouse when you put your headset on to avoid having clicking stuff on the desktop. You can either press Win + Y or disable that feature in the windows mixed reality settings

Disabling the feature fixed the issue...
