CBStu Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 Flying at night I dim the MFDs, the HUD, the backround illumination, etc. But the donut is full bright and really annoying. The engine and fuel level panel is similar. Although there is an adjustment knob for it, the knob does little to nothing.
Harker Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 There is a brightness knob on the lower part of the UFC, labeled AOA, under the HUD brightness knob. The vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Join the vCVW-17 Discord. Hulkbust44 Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 For the second part, to he cockpit lighting must be in night to adjust IFEI brightness. (This will also make IFEI text green)Switch is in the lighting controls outboard of the right console.Mobius708
CBStu Posted October 18, 2021 Author Posted October 18, 2021 Thanks guys. A funny aside. The very next thread I clicked on (What is S mode?) has a pic where I can just see the AOA knob. 3
