I was really looking forward to todays update thinking the Mossie wing bomb release issue (on a cold start MP Mosquito) would have been resolved, but it doesn't seem to be the case. I've read a couple of forum posts that says you can get the same affect arming the bombs and jettisoning them, yet I cant for the life of me get this to work, the wing bombs are stuck indefinitely on MP - does this jettison method work for anyone else?

Well, that's disappointing as hell. I haven't tried ground-spawn wing bombs again since today's update, but the jettison method did work for me before. You have to press and hold normal bomb release down until after you also push the jettison button (on the left cockpit side wall, NOT the one above the bomb panel). Best to bind them both.

And don't forget to open the jettison cover, of course.

You'll be further disappointed when you try get her airborne too - just tried several times and at about 80mph, after struggling to keep her straight (something I didn't have issues with before) she now randomly veers violently to the left and rolls over or skids sideways - something massive has changed to the take-off dynamics, I saw others struggling online and mentioning it too.  It's also possible to prop strike her now with aggressive braking.  Thanks for the jettison info I was pressing the one on the arm panel!

Unless you switched it off the 'Take Off Assistance' would have been on at 100% by default in the 'Special' options,since the last update (yesterday) the team decided to remove this assistance,so this would make sense why you and countless others are now struggling to take off.

Wait!? What!? I've been defaulted to having take-off assistance this entire time!? .... I feel cheated and a cheater, I thought it was just RAW talent lol! 

Are there any tips on not having her wiggle like crazy at about 80mph, which in turn loses too much speed to then takeoff? Rudder inputs seem to over correct and under correct too much to dampen it quick enough - I do like a challenge, although it took me long enough to master the Spitfire takeoff.

Well....speaking personally it'll very much depend on your payload,default fuel I think is 67%,I always have my Mossie loaded up with 4 x 500 pounders,that's quite a lot of weight,the heavier the aircraft the more difficult it is to take off.With this weight I use about 10% of flap to give a bit more lift,but not too much otherwise it'll just cause drag,use a bit of right rudder trim,and resist the temptation of using your brakes too much to counteract the wiggle,I then use the rudder as the speed builds up to correct my path down the runway.

My rule of thumb is to 'very gradually' feed in that 3000 RPM...do not on any account just flaw it and give it the full beans,keep the stick back just a bit and as you add in your power gradually move the stick forward to the neutral position.

This is my preferred way of take off with the aircraft loaded up as I have detailed.....as I pointed out the heavier the aircraft is the more difficult it will be to get airborne,a much lighter aircraft will be much more easier to get airborne.

Therefore if your struggling with take off I suggest you practice at first without any ordnance and reduce the default fuel load to maybe 30 - 35 % or something like that.Once you've mastered that move on to loading the aircraft up a bit at a time so you get used to the differences involved.

This is my preferred way.....I'm sure others will have their own preferred way.

Thanks Basco1 - wish I'd know this had been on sooner, I dont like have any assists on and I'd have built up a working take off procedure long before now - ahh well something to work on tonight. Lets hope the next update is more fruitful with bomb fusing, working wing drops and less take-off smoking (although I did notice yesterday that the smoke was no longer coming from the left engine but closer to the centre fuselage which was strange) - I found the trimming was far better in flight yesterday though after one of my very lucky/shady take offs and she sounds great! :-)
