  1. I'm getting a instant CTD under the following conditions : Multiplayer Cold Start Adding FCR in Weapons loadout (Along with Rockets and Hellfires) activating VID / Tads Feed from Pilot Seat Hot start - No issue No FCR - No Issue Reproduced 3 consecutive times, and reported each time.
  2. I've the warthog throttle and using the designated TDC slew stick with a generous deadzone. The elevation! Brilliant, thanks I'll have a look at this, I often set it to 0 having being used to the Harrier autopopulating the elevation for so many years originally, so I'll try with some true heights! Thanks
  3. For a few months it's been really playing me up that when I designate the T-POD to coordinates that I've added as a WP the TPOD is not ground stabilised to it - is this normal? By the time I press to then manually ground stabilise, it has dragged the TPOD over a fair distance (more so if the target is masked or currently out of sight) I can't understand why it no longer locks onto that coordinate and instantly stabilises like it used too. I have Easy TDC off (Something I 'think' I've always had set off) Has something changed, am I missing a new process? It's quite frustrating getting into range of a target expecting to see it in the TPOD and then fighting having to slew it back to the WP marker on the MAP. Thanks in advance for any input or insight!
  4. If this is the case in 'realistic' what is the point in ever slaving it to cords? Or am I meant to DESG and then ground stabilise instantly ? Thats fine as long as there are no line of sight issues as it would ground stabilise on any obstructions?
  5. I've noticed that on more than one module since 2.8 - you used to almost get a love heart to stay in the sky but now you get like 50ft of smoke before it scatters so it must be a core thing. I assumed it would be to help frame rates on acrobatic servers but it unfortunately doesn't look as good as it used to

I managed to damage the Nose Gear 3 times yesterday Taxiing out of Nellis - the first two times I felt like I was being gentle on the brakes, the third time I was off the brakes altogether aircraft lurched, pilot blacked out and nose collapsed - am I doing something drastically wrong or is there still ground/ NWS issues?
  7. You, Sir, are a genius THANK YOU - I have nearly every single module and have binded them all with a modifier and have never done this by accident before -THANK YOU, problem sorted!!

Unfortunately not, I think the issue might actually stem with an issue to do with modifiers not responding properly say I use button 1 for an on command, then button 1 + Modifer (button 5) for Off command - after one cycle using the modifier the button will then only work with the modifier engaged, it almost makes it a toggle button but with less consistency - I don't seem to have any issue with the use of modifiers on other aircraft
  9. Using the binding for ON also only seems to work for me once, afterwards the OFF binding seems to intermittently turn the same button on AND off - I agree a single toggle binding would be far better especially for the buttons that are actually toggles in the aircraft.

When using a keybinding for the 8 Armament Push Buttons on the RH side For each of the 8 Buttons after pressing the binding for: ON = turns it ON OFF = Turns it OFF But after doing this once the binding for ON no longer works and pressing the binding for OFF works almost like a toggle for the button, so after one use pressing OFF then turns the button back on and Off again (but not always constantly) . Personally with these being toggle buttons in the aircraft the binding should be a single ON/OFF toggle anyway if possible
  11. I only ever seem to have George AI Issues on multiplayer servers, if I play my own basic missions he fires every time. Is there a chance that multiple use of the same laser codes are causing issues? (especially on servers with Drone JTAC constantly lasing 1688) If I change the laser code via code option on the weapons page to say B would it change for George too?
  12. This is happening to me with the rudder pedals, which is really frustrating. If I push say 20% left rudder pedal then trim, by force of habit from my other helicopter modules I will often physically keep my feet at that 20% left rudder pedal position, then when I want to increase to say 40% left rudder I can't just push from my feet from the already 20% left rudder position to 40% left rudder as it locks up left rudder wont move at all, I then have to re-centre centre my pedals and then recommit to 40% left rudder from centre. The problem with this is to re-centre quickly I tend to over correct to centre with a slight right rudder or have to lift my feet of the pedals which just feels wrong - either way it looks messy.
  13. Thanks for replying - Sorry is that VR related? I'm using head tracking and a 4K TV for my setup, I've not heard of kegetys is it something that still might be worth researching?

It doesn't matter which terrain I fly or what aircraft but every time I load into a mission, online or otherwise it seems to take ages to render the ground terrain, the aircraft textures and even the F10 Map. Once it's rendered it tends to run absolutely fine but I find myself reserving 5-10 minutes at the start of every map pressing F2 to force render the scenery around and including other aircraft in an effort to buffer the textures - it never used to be like this anyone ANY ideas please!? Windows 10 (64) 32gb DDR4 RAM 2070 Super Ryzen 7 Installed on (Non-OS) SSD Drive Stand alone Beta version

Thanks Basco1 - wish I'd know this had been on sooner, I dont like have any assists on and I'd have built up a working take off procedure long before now - ahh well something to work on tonight. Lets hope the next update is more fruitful with bomb fusing, working wing drops and less take-off smoking (although I did notice yesterday that the smoke was no longer coming from the left engine but closer to the centre fuselage which was strange) - I found the trimming was far better in flight yesterday though after one of my very lucky/shady take offs and she sounds great! :-)
  16. Wait!? What!? I've been defaulted to having take-off assistance this entire time!? .... I feel cheated and a cheater, I thought it was just RAW talent lol! Are there any tips on not having her wiggle like crazy at about 80mph, which in turn loses too much speed to then takeoff? Rudder inputs seem to over correct and under correct too much to dampen it quick enough - I do like a challenge, although it took me long enough to master the Spitfire takeoff. Thanks for this info

You'll be further disappointed when you try get her airborne too - just tried several times and at about 80mph, after struggling to keep her straight (something I didn't have issues with before) she now randomly veers violently to the left and rolls over or skids sideways - something massive has changed to the take-off dynamics, I saw others struggling online and mentioning it too. It's also possible to prop strike her now with aggressive braking. Thanks for the jettison info I was pressing the one on the arm panel!
  18. I was really looking forward to todays update thinking the Mossie wing bomb release issue (on a cold start MP Mosquito) would have been resolved, but it doesn't seem to be the case. I've read a couple of forum posts that says you can get the same affect arming the bombs and jettisoning them, yet I cant for the life of me get this to work, the wing bombs are stuck indefinitely on MP - does this jettison method work for anyone else?

I've managed to get this working on MP and with multicrew by having a random vehicle broadcast the transmition with a looped OGG file fine, but it only seemed to work if I had the broadcasting vehicle as the same faction i.e allied to allied - So I just hid the allied broadcasting vehicle around the corner of the chosen enemy target. Also for some reason on Multicrew only the pilot could hear the radio audio (OGG file) but the direction finder worked perfectly. This worked fine (for the pilot) with several low range frequencies 4mHz, 6mHz, 8mHz, 9mHz - the issue I have now is that the same OGG file for some reason seems to transmit on all frequencies I have active, even if they're set to a different OGG files it clones one to them all - this is a Mission Editor issue i think.
  20. I love this server you can do SAR or even fight fires via water drops, (you obviously dont see water drop) but smoke dissipates the more water you dump on it - the scripting is amazing and you can find SAR's by F10 Map, scripted messages directing you to targets and smoke deployment
  21. I'm pretty certain it's a clockwise rotation, but I could be mis remembering - i'll double check my sync settings and collective next time it happens thank you! Thats an idea thank you I'll give that a go! I'll watch out for this strange behaviour thanks - do let me know if you find a permanent solution to your issues too!

  23. I seem to have got the hang of the hind but one thing eludes me, why do I occasionally start frantically spinning on the ground?. Sometimes this happens after performing a cold start and at the point of increasing the RPM and having had NO input on the control surfaces to this point as the revs come up the aircraft will start to spin to the right, even with the wheel brakes on and brake light illuminated and no AP active. I seem to have had some luck stopping this by using reset trim as part of my startup (despite it already showing centred) but when it happens rudder input does nothing. It also happens when I then land again, I get a satisfying nice gentle landing. Settle back to idle speeds, the aircraft can even be stable for some time on the ground then after a few seconds the spin starts again, stomping the brakes or applying the wheel brakes has zero effect - i've even had a gentle landing, rearmed all fine - gone off to make a drink and I come back to a smashed up helicopter that's spun itself to death
  24. I can't get my weapons to box up because of it, they box up at the top of the stores page but not on the pylon diagram lower down on the stores page and thus it won't give me a release solution
