well this has happened twice to me already and its getting pretty darn annoying...i cannot get to the 3rd mission...well i was stuck on the 2nd campaign mission ESCORT(had to kill rpg infantry men before they take out a friendly convoy) well i have very little success with this mission due to their cover in a forest...so i went into the options and enabled labels to maybe see the rpg...and when i went into campaign to try 2nd mission again- but it sends me to the 1st free flight mission....and i cannot select the 2nd- my only option is to play the 45minutes 1st one for like the fifth time.

 

is this supposed to happen- or am i missing a SAVE button somewhere? i have been playing these 2 missions for four days already and im getting pretty frustrated :mad:

 

never thought id be putting this game aside-but its just too annoying having to restart campagin all the time

You can use CTRL+Z, Shift+Z for time acceleration ... maybe you should wait for eng release, so it's less anoying for you, when you really understand your current mission ...

Aaaand ... is flying the shark anoying for you ? are you serious ? ;-).

In the short: if you want to interrupt campaign mission don't do it right after mission loading (when game still on pause). You must start to play it at least second or two.

 

May be EvilBivol-1 can put his own translation in English FAQ?

 

In the lower part of the campaign screen is 3 buttons. Are you sure you not press middle one 'Перезапустить кампанию' (Restart Campaign)? Right choice is 3rd button labeled 'ДАЛЕЕ' (Next).

 

P.S. I don't like 1st mission especially that narrative about stud-farm and other stuff. Too boring.

no i did not press restart campaign -i finished the 1st mission- pressed next...played the 2nd mission-fly again, played the 2nd mission again-i failed it again...so clicked back(to go into previous menu- and went into options to enable LABELS (so i can see troops hiding in the forest) then after checking box LABELS, i went back into campaign- and it sends me to first mission...this happend like 2 or 3 times already

I think the moderators made it pretty clear, that there will be no English support for a Russian version, so I guess we will have to live with that until the international release.

magidragon, I'm not sure what is happening with your campaign. It's possible you have stumbled onto a bug. We will check this and perhaps other users can also test this as they try the campaign. Although I personally have not had the time to keep up with the Russian forums, so far I have not seen any other users report this particular problem, although many had a hard time with Mission 02.

 

In any case, please try to check your emotions at the forum entrance. I understand you may be frustrated, but it will help everyone if you can keep your cool and make your post calm and informative. That would make it a lot easier to solve problems and benefit others.

 

My general advice, however, would be to hold off playing the campaign until you get the western version and can take full advantage of the language provided.

 

The issue addressed in the Russian FAQ is that some users were "rolled back" a mission because they never took the new mission off pause. In other words, when the campaign advances you into the next mission, you need to make sure you un-pause it for the campaign engine to "register" you in the new phase. As I understand it, this does not address your problem, because you had already run Mission 02.

It's an FAQ, not a support in the literal sense and it is a step towards the customers providing them with general information about their game, but they didn't need to take that step, as they announced other wise and have the right to. It's a gift for a loving community and we shouldn't stretch it IMHO.

 

And while this might be a general question, which maybe would fit in there, there are a lot of more specialized questions, which maybe shouldn't - Just my personal opinion, of course, regarding the way things developed over the recent weeks, but I guess we have to live with the fact that there is a thin line.
