Razor18 Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Or what happens with the rocket if I don't lase anything just aim with the pipper? Thanks
ASAP Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 (edited) It'll just fly ballistically to somewhere in the area around where your pipper was at the time of release. I wouldn't really bank on killing anything with it though unless it's lased in. Unguided rockets aren't very accurate, they are mostly used for suppression or marking targets in the real world. Mad Dog 762 Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 If you don't lase its just an unguided rocket. Soft target area weapon. In real life, more expensive, but I don't think it matters in DCS. =DISCO= Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Yes, the 'APKWS' is just fixed to the Hydra 70 rocket therefore can be used unguided as well as guided.
