Alpenwolf Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 I limit aircraft in numbers in all missions, so when a player RTB's to the airbase he started at and leaves the slot afterwards, the aircraft is saved in the warehouse and doesn't count as lost. However, if it's e.g. a Ka-50 that RTB's to the FARP it started at (single helipad) and the player leaves the slot, it's not added back to the single helipad's warehouse. Note that my server is a dedicated server and those servers seem to cause issues that a normal server does not. Just like the beacons' bug. Please, ED, check it out. I don't report these bugs for the heck of it. They are bugs and they cripple the mission design heavily. As always, Godspeed! Flappie Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 Hi @Alpenwolf. I've just tested SP, non-dedicated MP and dedicated MP. I get the same result: Airbase: Aircraft gets removed from the total from the moment the player spawns (e.g. "4 / 5"). They are retrieved if the player safely lands at the same airbase. FARP: Aircraft is never removed from the total (e.g. "5 / 5"). Even worse: when spawning at the FARP after having spawned elsewhere, aircraft is added to the total ("6 / 5"). Issue reported. On holiday
Alpenwolf Posted December 28, 2021 Author Posted December 28, 2021 Thanks for reporting it, mate! Very much appreciated! Note that lots of things seem to not work properly or at all on a dedicated server. The beacons issue is one of them. Another example is turning off the special option for Combined Arms "Compute Firing Solution" doesn't really turn it off when running the mission on a dedicated server. The point is, even tiny little options or advanced settings in the ME seem to get "neglected" or not considered so to speak by a dedicated server. Very weird. I hope fixing this issue here leads to fixing others. Godspeed, ED! HACA DYCA Discord Cold War 1947 - 1991 You can help me with keeping up the server via PayPal donations: hokumyounis@yahoo.com
