I've seen posts pointing to a bug where they will simply launch 10 missiles at a point on terrain, but I don't even have that. Ticonderoga or Burke class. Click the ship. Add target. Click general area of desired target and it auto-selects the ground unit as a target. No fire command is visible. Ship just stops dead in the water afer assigning the target, and sits there forever without firing.

Zoom all the way in and place the target marker right next to the unit, on the ground, but not on the unit itself. The ship should start firing without any other input from you. Depending on the target you might want to cancel the order once a few missiles have been fired otherwise it will shoot a volley of 10 cruise missiles. It works fine in SP but in MP the target crosshairs immediately vanish after clicking the ground point. Yeah something is bugged on MP. Server host can set targets for ships but clients cannot. Callsign112 Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Isn't there also a Combined Arms issue with navy units in general at the moment? I am able to place a ship and give it way points in the ME, but one the mission starts non of the set path/add target stuff seems to work for me.

Were you experiencing this during a liberation mission? IIRC I had some issues with ships in liberation in the past, usually giving them the orders several time would make them move. Callsign112 Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 No I was just in the ME doing my own thing. Have two groups of ships sailing towards each other with way points set in the ME. But when the mission was running, I was unable to give new way points, or add a target. I will have a look later tonight and post what I find.

Clients joined to the server will see the target marker vanish exactly as you describe.
