I don't know if these kind of questions are accepted on this section of forum, but i need help.

In first campaign mission i flyed through all the waypoints and eventually landed to my home airfield. I asked for clearance from the tower too. Still the mission was 50% completed. What i'm i supposed to do ?

I used the google translator for briefing, but it didn't say anything about any tasks other than just observing and flying through the waypoints.

Just came home from work and i just had to launch BS immediately. :)

Now i got it right. It was just a matter of following the wing leader like you said. Thanks again.

btw. What did the leader spoked during the flight ? I don't understand russian a single bit. He had a lot of things to say though.

Awesome game like LockON. Can't wait to launch my cannons and rockets towards enemy armoured column. Still haven't fired a shot. I have owned the game 1 day and all i learned during that time was flying the chopper and navigating basics. The detail of this sim is just incredible. :P

I feel your pain, I am unable to understand russian also, what I have been doing is read the manual and learn how the abris, radios and weapons work, learn how to cold start by heart in the dark, use the first training mission and take control of the bird right at mission start and just fly around to like Maikop and listen to music on the AM radio, I am saving the campaign for when the english version is released because it is language intensive, you must be able to understand verbal ingame warnings or you are doomed in the campaign. Also go to multiplay, select client, and fly on the 159th practice mission server with other people it's a blast!

Ask Jesus for Forgiveness before you takeoff :pilotfly:!

It describes region in which you'll operate in future missions: towns, checkpoints, main roads etc

Все написанное выше является моим оценочным суждением

Everything written above reflects my personal opinion

Nice. Those kind of things add a lot to immersion factor i think. In Lomac i don't remember anyone really said anything during missions.

Thanks for explaining.

Some translated text for you to cut and paste into the campaign builder and mission editor.

Note: First campaign mission only. I have tweaked the text to read OK. Not entirely sure about unit/place names.

Campaign Description:

The situation in the West Caucasus became complicated in the summer of 2009. Islamist nationalist groups formed in the territories of Karachaevo-Cherkesii and Kabardino-Balkarii to the south of Krasnodar and Stavropol. They began an effective terrorist campaign. Attacks to the organs of state power, infrastructure and army garrisons were devastating. Realizing the likelihood of full-scale military conflict, The Russian Federeation government made a decision to declare a state of emergency in the southern region and began to strengthen army units and border patrols.

Description:

SITUATION

By order of the Commander you are deployed on active service in the Ka-50 combat helicopter squadron at the disposal of 55- GO OBVP (individual combat helicopter regiment), usually equiped with Mi-24[V] Hinds. You will take the post of Commander of the 1st battalion of the 3rd UAE. Temporary staff and billets are arranged on the airfield at Mineral'nye Vody.

August 12, 2009.

After conducting an operation to destroy troop formations in the mountains, the situation became somewhat settled. In June and July 55- GO [OBVP] worked hard in support of the 10th motorized rifle division. They carried out a number of assaults on scouted positions which allowed troops to be stationed at key hilltop postitions and other strong points. Further, they carried out operations in the interests of the Federal Boundary Service (FPS), the FSB and the Search and Rescue service (PSS).

At present 55 OBVP has two farps equipped in the Southern outskirts Circassian, called Podkova and Vetka and east of Kurgan village in OPRS Kislovodsk-West 995.00 KV, call sign Torba.

Red Task

August 15, To the commander, 1st battalion of the 3rd UAE (call sign 251) :

Conduct reconnaissance and check flight along a route IS CIRCASSIAN [Podkova] - UST' -[DZhEGUTA] - TERESA - - UST' -[DZhEGUTA] - TERESA - KURGAN - [KISLOVODSK]; [Podkova]

Total Distance 157 km. Follow the commander 1st UAE (call sign 105) from the base at Podkova.

The barometric altitude will be 600 - 1500 meters. Readiness at 07-30 for takeoff at 08-00. Combat loadout is not required. On the route you will become familiar with the landmarks and natural obstacles of the region. Warning! Difficult conditions near mountainous terrain require special care. Before the flight you will study the limitations of altitude-speed regimes. The flight plan is available on your Abris display.

You could be right. Guess i try couple of missions further and see how hard those are. If i don't understand then i have to leave campaign waiting too.

Vitesse2L: Thanx. That looks a lot more readable than straight google translate version i read. :)

I just got my first medal. :pilotfly:

Now i'm in the second night mission in campaign. Can anyone explain what are my mission orders in this one ?

Google translate didn't really help much. It makes no sense.

There's mansion with 2 Uaz and infantry, maybe 5 soldiers. After i destroy and kill those i don't know what to do.

btw. Sorry if my questions are annoying someone. ;)

I just find the campaign so immersive that i just have to continue flying. The radio communications are so thrilling with gunfire in the backround and ground troops asking for help in distress. Much better than in Lomacs campaign IMO.

edit: Nevermind. I finally figured what i needed to do. Even though there weren't any threats outside the mansion left anymore still some of them were hiding inside the building. Couple of rockets did the job and someone fleed with Uaz. I shot one missile to welcome him and that's it. :)

Really like the missions. Hopefully english release isn't far away.

I am at missoin (in the "standard Campaign") where I have to fly about 50 minutes to reach the target and then clear a village Teberda in order to recapture a FARP.

I have flown the mission more then twice already, with my Attack group plus the support convoy recapturing the lost FARP. However the "mission success" does not appear?!

Anyone else had this issue? Looks like some trigger that does not get fired

I also cant see (ABRIS) or contact (radio) the FARP SHPORA where I am supposed to land, so I diverted to alternate SKALA.
