F18mech
I am new to DCS and the F18C module. I was a mechanic on F18s in the Marine Corps. I recall no matter what we were learning there was a training syllabus to guide your progress. Has anyone ever developed one?

I get some screenshots of the general outline.Mobius708 2

F18mech
Thank you for the information. It is a great start with what is needed to learn at least to get primary flight and navigation.
CBStu
Jeez, you are taking all the fun out of it. It's always better to just hop in, fire it up, and take off. BTW F18mech, welcome to the forum. I am thinking your mechanical knowledge will come in handy in a lot of discussions. There seem to be a lot of Qs that come up where info from the web doesn't do it. Sometimes one source will contradict another source. Sometimes it seems there is plenty of info for the B models (for example) but nothing on the C we are flying. F18mech
CBstu, There are a few I know that worked on them, however that was over 20 years ago. I am happy to entertain any questions, as it would be a challenge to recall and research information. I was a structures/ hydraulics mech that was engine run/ Turnqualed as CDQAR. I have a friend that worked in avionics and we just connected after 25, or so, years and started this journey of experiencing dcs and its features with about the same level of excitement. Between the two of us we could probably come up with some decent answers, or believable lies....whichever the opinion...
