I did mission 7, where you are supposed to fly below 1000 feet to stafe an airfield, I got there and got crushed, only to realise that 4 of my flight had crashed a long the way, I did it again, this time paying attention and again losing 4 planes along the way, this time I saw one jojo up and down before hitting some trees.

Sadly I cannot reprogram the dcs ai  I’ve noticed this ‘behavior’ while testing my upcoming Mossie campaign too, on low level missions. Hoping that the new ai update they just announced will solve this.

What will happen if I fly say 2000 feet, will I get a failure state on the mission?

Nooo I hate those kinds of missions. You can only fail my campaigns by getting killed or captured.
