DCS Crashing regularly - usually when starting 2nd mission

The issue is that I don't usually get offered the option of sending.  DCS just crashes immediately to desktop.

But this is a month-old crash. An error does not mean a faulty memory module. This may mean a delay in the response between the graphics card and the RAM, for example.

A month old?  That could be when I had some faulty RAM which Corsair replaced.  I was getting memtest86 errors, so I had the 2 faulty modules replaced.

I can do that, but everything was working fine with newer versions until the last couple of days.

Also, I am not having any issues with any other game I play, e.g. Elite Dangerous, Red Dead R2, Il2, The Medium, etc. etc.

OK, I'll do that. Interestingly, I ran my Stable install (2.5.6) and the exact same thing happened, i.e. CTD withing 10 mins.

I'm guessing you mean the nVidia 466, I can't see a 476.

OK, so exact same behaviour with 466 drivers. CTD after about 10 mins.

So, problem has been resolved by changing from XMP-II profile to XMP-I in BIOS.

No issues at all since making that change, and after several hours of DCS play.
