Frosties Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Is it possible to steer the view with the mouse at the same time you have the "crosshair" active? Little irritating to have to switch between mouselook and crosshair for every tiny thing! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Vincere Est Totum
Macka Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 In order to enjoy the game/sim to its fullest potential most people use TrackIR (IR 3d tracking device) to view or failing that, the Numpad and or POV hat switch on Joystick for views. Then you can use the mouse for other uses ie clickable cockpit. There we were....two against a thousand.....so what'd we do....Shotem' both!!!! Little irritating to have to switch between mouselook and crosshair for every tiny thing! Unfortunately not. You need to get TrackIR or use the POV on the joystick to change view whilst moving the crosshair with the mouse. Having problems? Frosties Posted November 28, 2008 Author Posted November 28, 2008 ouch! :( One would think that a mouselook with a crosshair would be easy to fix.. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Vincere Est Totum

crazysundog Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Is it possible to steer the view with the mouse at the same time you have the "crosshair" active? Little irritating to have to switch between mouselook and crosshair for every tiny thing! As a matter of fact, I have done this... wether it was built into the game, or it was a glitch. I can reproduce it too... Whenever I have another windows active, (for ex. notepad) and start the game, this happens to me. I find it annoying, and immediately exit and restart. Note: it does not happen if i have trackir running, however I dont use track ir while recording tracks with Fraps, which is how i discovered this. I will see if i can make it work again and get back to you.
Zorrin Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 I have had that happen, no idea how I did it, but to clear it as I found it rather annoying (and I don't use TrackIr), was to switch to an external view and back into the cockpit. Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.
Legolasindar Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Unfortunately not. You need to get TrackIR or use the POV on the joystick to change view whilst moving the crosshair with the mouse. I can use mouse for move view. When i push Score Window, and return, my mouse move crosshair and crosshair :P, bug or not, but i can. deviletk Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Seriously though guys. With TrackIR (Save up until you can afford it) youll enter a new world of gaming/simming. It is good for sims, fps, racing and more. You will never have to touch anything to look around thus leaving you with more options at your hands. Regards Alex Regards Alex "Snuffer" D. It was responded to and confirmed as a bug but it was also said that they may implement it as a feature. Seriously though guys.
