Does the ECM of the Hornet can operate in "noise barrage" mode?

Is it capable like the F16 to operate in "noise barrage" mode? The core functionality of the jammer should be just like in SPJ. The way I see it (perhaps I'm wrong) - the difference between mode 2 and 3 is there to give a "management" tool for the pilot - keep the ECM always ON or begin transmitting automatically only when locked...

No, there is no barrage jamming for the ASPJ. It is a range and angular deception jammer utilizing range gate pull off, con-scan deception and other techniques.
