I went to run the mi-24 training video for starting and taking off, and it got to near the end of the starting and stopped at the point at where it should have went on to take-off..that never happened. I have had the module since it was Beta release and flew it a lot for a while, but want to do the training.. so I am not sure if that part of training ever worked properly...

I don't mean to be unhelpful, but the startup/takeoff training mission is the ONLY way I can get off the ground and fly...... I've tried everything from cold start to hot takeoffs, but cannot get off the ground any other way. It must be a controller issue; using Logitech Extreme 3D Pro with throttle axis mapped to collective works fine in that training mission...... which, by the way, did occasionally stop around the point you described.

Hope you found the culprit. I did a repair/cleanup operation yesterday, reducing freezes in that mission.
