OK, I see now, same thing happens to me. Thanks for the heads up.

I've seen this with Spitfires at Biggin Hill and reported to ED, but it seems it's a DCS-wide AI bug. I added this track to the report.

Apparently AIs now cannot follow the player, because they think the runway is obstructed. They will take off after 4-5 minutes or so, but by then the mission is broken.

Fingers crossed for a quick solution

FYI, I found a workaround. If you taxi over to the side and let them take off before you, they'll manage to do so. If you're quick about it, you should be able to follow them without breaking the dialogue. Not realistic, but the mission did run.

Great find, thanks!

BTW it turned out that the same AI bug is breaking the campaigns of many other makers too, so we all reported it to ED and they're on it. Hopefully there will be a fix in the next update.

Apparently if you go to the default ATC freq and use the normal F5 radio comms and request take off before using your custom space bar version that will work. At least that is what is being suggested in other campaigns with the same issue.

Wingman in event 3 works well here. I know there's a mission, after landing the wingman stucks itself on the sand, after landing on the 21R.

Yep, I've noticed several times (as in, in several missions) that the AI doesn't use the intersection after landing on 21R, but instead turn about 110 degrees and taxi through the grass/ sand. 🤪  Usually they make it out without getting stuck.

But what I've described above was completely new.  I only even noticed between HEREM and JUNNO, when Bio was giving his briefing, that Hammer didn't form up on me. I then "F2ed" through all the flights and noticed him sitting right there in the grass at the beginning of 31R, parallel to the runway. I've never, ever seen AI do that before in DCS. Maybe it was a coincidental hiccup.

Unfortunately I was so perplexed that I quit without saving the track file. I'll try again tomorrow and see if this is reproduceable.

Event 7, wingman stuck again next to runway. AI seems to have taken a severe blow to the head again during one of the recent updates. Before, the AI waited for the aircraft in front to take off. Now it seems to want to take off immediately, and tries to overtake.

Next time I'll try to move to the side and let the AI take off first.
