Hotdognz Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Hi trying the new voice chat with some squad mates and we have all noticed a drop in our in game sound levels when using it, the only way to restore them are to turn off voice chat in the options menu Anyone Else seen this ?? 2
JD Swann Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 The same thing happens to me. I usually just turn up the in game volume, which works but it's annoying. I've found that when I host my own server my sound is normal until someone else joins the voice chat.
Silver101 Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 It’s a windows setting. You need to right click on the little speaker icon on your taskbar, bottom right corner of the desktop. And click sounds. Then click on the communication tab in the new window that opens. And select (do nothing) for what the computer does to your Audio when communications are detected. By default your pc reduces sound by 80%. 1 2
Shrike88 Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 100% this. Thought it was my sound card drivers however it is not. Significant reduction in overall game volume when the radio function is activated and users join. ED please address this

Gryzor Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 It doesn´t works for me above solution. Sound is reduced by 50% even with "do nothing" enabled
