Rongor Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 While fumbling around in the cockpit, I unsuccessfully tried to designate a random location in A-G mode with the HUD, which failed due to undocumented reasons. I got a SPI marker box and slew it to the left, visible in the HMCS. When designating didnt work, I tried again with the TGP, which caused the SPI marker to reset upon the first TDC input. I only had the TGP format in the MFD for this, didn't make it SOI. After making TGP SOI at 04:04:00, I noticed that TMS inputs had no effect. Also creation of a Markpoint was impossible. At 04:05:38 I am switching from Markpoint DED page back to CNI. Still no effect. Giving up. trackfile below OpenBeta 2.7.9.18080 NoTMSonTGPinCCRP.trk
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted January 10, 2022 ED Team Posted January 10, 2022 Hi, you were in GUN STRF so the TGP was following the reticle, it probably confused the issue for you. For making the mark point try Switch to AG mode make the HUD SOI Turn on HMD make sure you are in VIS mode, ( you will see it in the HMD ) then use TMS up long press, this will make the HMD SOI Go to MARK mode on the ICP / DED then use TMS up short to ground stabilise the mark in the HMD once ground stabilised TMS up short again and you will see the numbers from the mark go to the DED you should be good to go then, let me know if it helps 2 Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
