Underscore Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Is it possible to stop my radio messages being read out (after all I have just selected the message so I know what it is) and just have the reply coming in over audio?? Also as its not my voice kind of takes away from the immersion of it being me flying the plane Thanks for any info ----------------------------------------------------------- AMD Ryzen 5800X @ 4.8Gz; MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk; GeForce RTX 4090 MSI Trio; 32MB DDR4 @ 3600Mhz; Samsung 980 pro M.2; Varjo Aero VR; Thrustmaster Warthog stick, Viper TQS throttle & MFD's; Monza SR-P pedals
draconus Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 (edited) It simulates you, the pilot, saying the message through the radio. Different voices are not supported. I can understand it's a problem if you actually say the message using Voice Attack and get it duplicated but that is not integrated part of DCS. Baldrick33 Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 VAICOM has an option to suppress the messages, so it can be done. Whether there is a way of doing this outside of VAICOM I don't know. 1 AMD 5800X3D · MSI 4080 · Asus ROG Strix B550 Gaming · HP Reverb Pro · 1Tb M.2 NVMe, 32Gb Corsair Vengence 3600MHz DDR4 · Windows 11 · Thrustmaster TPR Pedals · VIRPIL T-50CM3 Base, Alpha Prime R.
