gauth Posted January 10, 2022 Share Posted January 10, 2022 Hi everyone, I've been trying for the last few days to use DCS Voice chat without success. Here is my problem: I have a microphone via my USB Camera (also used for the trackIr) that is working with any game, or website like Discord. In the audio menu in DCS, this microphone is detected and selected as audio chat input. However, in game, when emetting in group or in radio mode (this is working as I can hear my teammates), no one can hear me. I suppose the issue is coming from DCS which doesn't receive any audio from my mic (even if detected). I tried to go in my settings to check if there was any kind of authorization issue, but DCS doesn't even appear as a application that need my mic... I bought a gaming head set because I thought that dcs wasn't able to get two different information from one device (tracking and microphone). It works and my issue is resolved.
