Hawkmoon Posted January 17, 2022 Posted January 17, 2022 hi, just made a ELINT flight, all went good except the fact that the elint report only showed allied unit because i took off from a zone where there where more than 10 friendly radar so none of the enemy radar was populated, there is a way to not pick up allied radars or start recording signals at a certain time?
TOViper Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 (edited) Hello Hawkmoon! Yes, you can put the knob "U22 mode selector" to position A and the knob "U22 bandwith selection" to F. With that setting, which is a "preheat" mode, the jammer does nothing except warming up. If you then need recording during flight, simply put the knob from F to any of G, H, J or K. Then it should record silently. After recording you can put it back to F. TOViper Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 It uses the RWR to receive radar signals from other radars, yes. The pod himself then analyzes the received signals, and jams them using his own antennas. It is also able to do triangulation to determine the position of an emitter. Machalot Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 And the pod records the data. "Subsonic is below Mach 1, supersonic is up to Mach 5. Above Mach 5 is hypersonic. And reentry from space, well, that's like Mach a lot."

It doesn't need the RWR for that. 1 Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
