All of the F-16 skins have somehow disappeared from my DCS Beta. ...except for three custom skins which I downloaded from User Files. Is there any way I can just get back the default skins that come with the F-16. I'm not even sure what skins were included in the original when I bought the F-16.

I dou't think this method is going to work for me.  .... A bit complicated for me because  Powershell is not accepting input. Nothing appears as it does in the instructions. In the past I have used "DCS repair" but I don't know what exactly I did....but I did not have these troubles as I have now trying it.

Seems you are not following the guide to the letter .. it does not use Powershell … see the section titled "Opening a Command Prompt:"

No.... I tried both. I guess I should have said "windows terminal" ....  Maybe it would be easier to uninstall the F-16 mod and re-install it. Not sure of best way to do that either.

The F-16 is divided in two parts, the installable part is the one that allows you to fly the F-16. The other part is built-in on DCS and allows players to see the F-16 on multiplayer severs even if they dont own the aircraft. On this case, the liveries are on the built-in DCS and most likely uninstalling the F-16 wont fix this.

Perhaps you could try Skatezilla’s Utility, which is kind of a friendlier user interface to DCS_Updater:

yes maybe. I used that program with some difficulty on my last PC. I just now remembered about it. I'll play around with it.

Hi...Progress report!

I'm having better luck with Skatezilla's thing this time.  It's doing something right now so I'll let you know later how it went.

Just drop it on your desktop and open it, easy as it gets. I use it since a long time and it´s a must have (i use VR, use 2D for mission planning, use the modelviewer, Repair, Cleanup, etc, just with one click).

And everytime you get errors/issues with DCS just do a Repair or a Cleanup with Skatezilla Gui Updater app. If you have your liveries in savedgames/DCS.OpenBeta you don´t loose anything because the repair/cleanup is made in Core DCS folder, and, Skatezilla Gui Updater have the option to erase extra files or move them to backup when you´re doing a CleanUp so no worries about that.
