This is done currently with scripts in practically all missions even though it should be a basic tool.

The default code of 1688 is used in all instances with no way of changing the code.




@BIGNEWY since we discussed this in the chat earlier, can you confirm that this indeed is a limitation of the ME currently?

It is possible in combined arms to change the laser code when you are JTAC role in bino view, I agree it would be nice to have in the editor.

I had similar thoughts as well. Hope this makes its way in to a patch!

Pls do it, it colud be nice to have this possibility for mission creators. Now its possible only with external scrips like this:
