GR4 SEAD AI breaks after flying some distance

The GR4 might be the most broken AI plane in DCS.

In addition to that old problem with no response, the GR4 refuses to carry out SEAD if it has been in the air long enough. I believe it's related to the bugged RTB fuel setting because for them to even reach the target I need to tell them to ignore RTB on bingo.

The AI will follow waypoints but ignore air defenses unless shot at, making them useless as SEAD aircraft. See file "Broken Tornados" and watch the GR4's flying out of the UAE.

Now, if I make the same flights start in the air but much closer to the target, they behave correctly and actually fight back. See "Working Tornados" where a GR4 SEAD flight air starts over Iran.

Issues:

Tornado RTB's too early (see old thread)

Tornado will not carry out tasks when flying too far (the same distance that triggers RTB bug?)

Thanks for looking into this. I assume you mean that the Tornado's in the mission are carrying ALARM on an extra pylon? The mission was originally made some time ago and apparently I've had that ALARM loadout saved from before it was removed from the AI Tornado's capabilities. It didn't seem to stop the AI from functioning when I made them air start closer to target though.

Well my thinking, and I could be totally wrong is if the AI thinks that anything there is a fuel tank it might mess up something with what the AI thinks it has for fuel, probably not, but I have seen weirder. 

I see, I can do some testing on that. I don't remember what the payloads were in my old bug report, I'll have to see if they were incorrect as well.

This works for me too, but I also took a look at the actual fuel amounts. It looks like they are around 60% full (no ext tank) when they reach Lar airbase. They decide to RTB at this point, but they still have a decent amount of fuel left. I think the RTB fuel amount might be a little generous, though it's always going to be situation dependent.
