Quick Question 'Vapour' does windows recognize it as a controller/ buttons, as in WINDOWS 'Game controllers' in control panel?

If it does then it should work.:joystick:

Its designed to work with SimConnect within FSX only so its not like a DX device, but theres a guy who has created a piece of software to allow people to use it in FS9. I have no idea how it works but it does at least show its possible to intercept the commands.

There used to be a thread about it in the Saitek forum but I can't find it, someone was asking could it be used for IL2 and the answer was no, it was an FSX addon only.

Can you not you use the SST software to program it for BS? Not a good comparison but in LOMAC the only stick commands I programmed in game are for the axis' everything else is programmed in SST. But I dont know really, in theory though it should work.

With SST it should be able to have keyboard commands programmed into that will in turn be recognized by BS. One of my home built panel projects I'm working on uses a Contour Designs Shuttle Pro2 a controller used in video/audio editing apps. Its not a game controller by any stretch but comes with its own version of SST like software to program it like a keyboard encoder.

It seems the problem is the Saitek controller only connects with FSX part of sofware (or FS9 with special app). Don´t see any other software.

But your idea sounds very good :)
