element1108 Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 I had the same problem (in Toronto)with Explorer. I downloaded firefox and the thing downloaded in 32 minutes. I'd suggest if you haven't...try that. If that doesn't work, try early in the morning or later in the evening (could be bandwidth)
Highwayman-Ed Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 I had the same problem when I was using a download accelerator which I use incase the download falls over. I was only getting about 2 KB/Sec. I cancelled that and let IE7 download the files, and they came down in less than an hour. rviii Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 It all depends on time & location, catch it right and do 7+ Mbit/sec catch it wrong and do 300k/bit or less. Overall I was pleased with the Russian mirror @ 7Mbit. p.s. Thanks to the Guys & Girls at DCS / ED for bringing 2009 early & St. Nic for the presents.. A great job guys.
