correct as is Buttons not responding in co-pilot seat

I may be doing something wrong here but during training in the co-pilot seat none of the buttons work. Its asking me to "WAS up" & move cursor to TSD but I get nada. Not even the flight stick moves when I move the stick around. Is there a dedicated control mapping for the gunner? Bug?

 

Update: I just watched Matt's video on controls and apparently theres a dedicated control mapping for "AH-64D CP/G" so this may be what I missed. Hope this may help someone else.

for me the dedicated control mapping for the gunner(WAS-UP) is going, but the mission stays stucked there.
