Automatic range resetting to man range accurate?

When I set the range to automatic for the gun with HMD as sight and then switch the gun off and on again, the range is set back to the default 1500/3000m range.

Is that accurate? It's really irritating me. Same with rockets.

Yes, indeed and annoyingly, that seems to be how to the real Apache works too (if I remember correctly Casmo mentioned that in one of his videos).

Yes, that’s what CasmoTV said, he also advised to set manual range to 800m.

That will stay through the flight and it’s a better setting to aim with the helmet.

It should automatically revert to Manual range if your sight is HMD and you action the gun.

It shouldn't be doing that for rockets however.
