add wp to route How to get new WP to show on ALPHA list?

I have sifting thru the vids and manual, cant figure out how to get a newly created WP03 to show up in the ALPHA list so I can do a "Direct Too"?

I know I can do a Direct Too it by placing the curser over it, but Im thinking of an example case where your like 30+ miles away from it and you dont want to try and find it on the map, you just want to select it from the list and Direct Too.

I was hoping it showed up in like the Bravo list etc, but it doesnt? I even tried to use "L3" on the coordinate page, but that didnt give me a Direct Too either?

in route (RTE) click ADD, then select the waypoint either with the cursor or with L1 and the KU, then click in the list on the right where you want it inserted. it is inserted before the waypoint you select in the list. if you want to put it at the end, hit END.

LOL,,, Ive watched them all over the last couple months as they were released,,, musta seen them all at least 3 times. I may have over saturated my brain if I missed this part.  Istill go back to them when Im on the hunt. But thanks
