Cheers, Vincent Do you mean the real AH-64D or the current DCS EA version? I mean, unless you're planning on sitting on the ground for a long time on battery power that would pretty much negate the need to have an APU on the real thing, which would in turn save weight, and you know how much aircraft designers love saving weight.
