Castor Troy Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 I don't agree with the war. So save it. But here is a nice clip of a Mi-24.
Northstar98 Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 Yep, also interesting is that it has the L116V IR jammer mounted, and no PZU dust protection systems. Dragon1-1 Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 (edited) The jammer is there, and so is the protective cover. The crew is just too lazy to dismount the thing. As for PZU, it just doesn't need it in Ukraine, not much dust over there. Also, that Ka-52 crew is never gonna hear the end of it from the Hind jocks. Latest gen helo full of MFDs, moving maps, thermal cameras and the like, shot down, crew rides home in an old hunk of metal with steam gauges and a "moving map" consisting of a piece of paper and a mechanical cursor. One of those two helos gets the job done and gets crews home. Edited March 22, 2022 by Dragon1-1
