dburne Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 (edited) So in the controller setup menu, under axis commands, shows TDC slew both horizontal and vertical axis. However it states "Mouse". Is there no way to assign TDC slew to an axis on a controller? I am sure it is different but I have TDC slew assigned to an axis on my CM3 throttle for the Hornet. Works great and I can assign also buttons to that same controller. I am sure TDC slew is likely very different in the Apache, I am still trying to learn how to fly the thing so have not progressed that far yet. Eagle7907 Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 It’s called something different in the controls options. I can’t remember what it’s called off the top of my head, but it is there.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Win 10, AMD FX9590/water cooled, 32GB RAM, 250GB SSD system, 1TB SSD (DCS installed), 2TB HD, Warthog HOTAS, MFG rudders, Track IR 5, LG Ultrawide, Logitech Speakers w/sub, Fans, Case, cell phone, wallet, keys.....printer

I see Cursor Control which can only be assigned to buttons. Only thing I see close in axis settings is this TDC slew which can only be assigned to mouse it seems. I have cursor control assigned to buttons on my throttle mini stick, however would prefer to use axis for assignment to free up those buttons for other things. That is how I have it set for the Hornet. Probably not possible at this time. Dragon1-1 Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 TDC Slew is some weird legacy command that may or may not be used by any given module. It appears even in modules that don't have a TDC at all, I think it's a holdover of some sort.

Crazily enough I could have swore I had already checked in there - after all these year one would think I would know better. Somehow I missed it though so thank you! Perhaps ED putting them in separate category (HOCAS) is what threw me off. I have now accomplished exactly what I wanted to so thank you!
