Love the Apache thanks for making it!

I have a question for all of you. Have you tried missions where you where tasked with finding enemy infantry in urban enviroment. I have just flown such a mission, and I find it very very hard to see "people" with tads, both in video and flir. it is like the heat signature from humans is not detected. I have all adjustments mapped, and tweaking gain, level, contrast and all, no joy.

But what do I know! maybe this is how it is, and you need very precise intelligence or fac to direct you.

Would like to hear your experiences, thanks.

don't forget they just introduced a new IR visibility system! We will see a lot of changes in the future

Heat signature from people is pretty variable and overrated. Its mainly seeing "clothes" which are alot cooler than your body temp. And then military uniforms have "treatments" that make them less emissive in the IR anyway. So you should basically see hands and faces as the "hottest" part of the figure. Also environmental conditions will make huge differences in how things look as will how the camera is setup. So its very much an "it depends" kinda answer. Like at night with a cool background, yup people should show up easy. During the day in an urban environment, its gonna way more cluttered and harder to spot people.
