Quick question about the HMD display

I was just playing on a MP server and someone joined my Apache as CPG.

Half way en route our objective my HMD monocle suddenly went blank. As in, all symbology just disappeared (the monocle was still in front of my right eye)

 

Could it be that my human CPG (accidently) did something to remove it? I wasn't able to get it to show up again so I eventually switched to another client slot. Any ideas?

would need a track replay to be sure. There was an old issue when turning the TDU off it would turn off the CP/G HDU but that was fixed before early access.

Maybe he just turned off the brightness?

Very stupid question from a DCS veteran but a DCS MP noob...

Is it possible to save a track from a MP session?

Pretty sure that after I selected "Leave server" I was directly brought back to the Multiplayer servers screen. Can't recall seeing a debriefing screen where I could save a track

I thought about that, but can the CPG do that for the pilot's HMD?

(Need to look up where the HMD brightness knob is, although I turned up all brightness knobs I could find )

Yes, all the multiplayer tracks are saved automatically and you can find them in    Saved Games\ DCS\ Tracks\ Multiplayer.

MP tracks are automatically saved in tracks/multiplayer folder.

if its a very long track it may not be useful as they can be temperamental. On another note its worth cleaning that folder out now and again to save space

He might have turned off the IHADSS power on the WPN UTIL page.

Is there a way to switch to the (human controlled) CPG seat while watching a MP track file?

I want to check @Raptor9's suggestion, but I can't seem to switch between the PLT and CPG seat by pressing 1 and 2, while watching a MP track file.

 

(unfortunately the concerning track file is 40mb and I have no idea how or where to upload that)
