FalcoGer Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 (edited) It has been reported already, but not in it's own topic. I have not seen any reaction from the team yet. They should be springloaded to a center position, and are "bumped" forward to toggle squelch on that radio, or bumped back to remove it. The reasons these switches should work this way (which is accurate to real life AH-64Ds) is because there are two switches for each radio, one in each cockpit. If the pilot has the VHF squelch switch turned off but the CPG has it turned on, what switch should be correct? So the switches are just bumped in a direction. According to the technical manual, section 3-12 (page 236): Quote 3.15.2 Squelch (SQL) Switches. The SQL switches are momentary toggle switches that provide squelch select/deselect capability for both crewstations. I would also presume squelch should be default selected, but I have not found any evidence for either case. It would just make sense to me to not be deafened by static noise by default.
