We had one small instance of desync this evening, but the rest of the time it was flawless with LMC and with the hellfires reading the laser etc. Good job, ED.

Your video shows static targets. No idea what the benefit of using LMC would be in this situation.

LMC without joystick command holds crosshairs in place. Once LMC is activated I’m hands off. Provides much more aiming stability while aircraft is in motion. Without LMC you’re having to constantly correct your aim with the joystick.

Here. At 1:15 I use LMC for its other purpose, tracking moving targets. You can see the difference in the crosshair: it goes from constant minute corrections due to aircraft movement, to holding stable when LMC is activated. Either user error or no target state estimator caused us to barely miss this coop shot.

Can you please explain the acronym LMC for us who don't know what it means? Thanks.

Linear Motion Compensator.

It's a stabilization that holds the crosshair still, while the chopper is moving around. But it only compensates for instable plattform to a certain degree. It is not a "locking" of any kind to the target.
