Andylad701 Posted April 7, 2022 Posted April 7, 2022 Good afternoon, I previously posted about this but after running the repair the bug has come back again. When I sit in the CPG seat the George interface will only show when in the CMWS page and not for any of the other pages making it virtually impossible to use the Apache when in the front seat. It works fine when I am in the Pilots seat just the CPG seat that it is bugged. I have ran the repair again and also re-installed the Apache but the bug will no longer clear. Many thanks. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted April 7, 2022 ED Team Posted April 7, 2022 Hi Andylad701 can I ask you to repeat the problem, then attach your dcs.log also? it can be found in your saved games dcs.openbeta logs folder. Its a single text file called dcs, it should show some clues. Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Andylad701 Posted April 7, 2022 Author Posted April 7, 2022 Hi BigNewy, hopefully this is the correct file that you need, I have enclosed the log and also another track of what I was doing at the time in case it may help. Thanks. Apache CPG seat George not displaying2.trk dcs.log
greyeagle787 Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 Hi All, Just wanted to weigh in….I just recently downloaded the Apache and just today was experimenting with George. Like AndyLad701, AI worked fine in Pilot’s seat but was basically inop from the CPG seat. At first, there was no display but I could command pilot actions and he would respond, but every time I tried I would get some different issue. At one point would only act on CMWS commands. Last time I tried it in VR, I got the display but it was attached to the bottom of my HMD. Was going to try a repair but looks like that is ineffective. Ideas?? Thanks!

Just some points from the log, may not be related. you have a script error [string "C:\Users\alamb\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts/DCS_Volanta.lua"]:81: in function <[string "C:\Users\alamb\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts/DCS_Volanta.lua"] Also it maybe worth removing unofficial mods to retest, to see if you notice a change. 16th Widowmakr Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 George AI Menus show up on lower monitor and CPG menu is larger than normal. Also Pilot seat menus doesn't show up because my lower monitor is not as wide as my upper one. My main monitor is 1920X1080 and the lower one is 1280X1024 and the are aligned at the left edge. Any help would be greatly appreciated. PrestonAI_page_common.lua Apache.lua AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor 3.4 GHz 32 Gb RAM, Nvidea GTX 1050 TI Water Cooled, Windows 10 64 bit
Floyd1212 Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 One last thing I forgot to point out from the other thread: Make sure you have both these lines at the bottom of the monitor config file. Quote UIMainView = Viewports.Center GU_MAIN_VIEWPORT = Viewports.Center Not having the second line has caught a few people out, and I think it tells DCS which monitor is the main screen, and that's the one it will position the George controls on.

zaelu Posted October 17, 2023 Posted October 17, 2023 (edited) I have the same problem as the original poster. I don't have installed mods for planes and the scrips folder has in export.lua just two lines coming from the WinWing Orion2 Throttle: " local wwtlfs=require('lfs') dofile(wwtlfs.writedir()..'Scripts/wwt/wwtExport.lua') " I also did a clean up and repair to be sure nothing could interfere. LE I reinstalled the module and is still the same. Not sure if it was like that from the beginning because although I have it since release I didn't had the time to play with it. But my DCS World install is not that old (new PC this year) and it's pretty clean Also Petrovich interface works without issues in pilot or Gunner seat. I attached also my log . Thank you! L.E. Solved it! I have found the problem! It was between the keyboard and the chair... The interface does not show when the player has the aircrafts controls. I recently switched the "Auto hand over" option in "Special" menu in the mode the AI doesn't take over automatically and it didn't crossed my mind the George AI interface will have no reason to show if I have the controls. Maybe some "beep-beep" sound could be added to the George/Petrovich interfaces so to warn the player the command can't be executed because conditions are not met? Thanks anyway! dcs.log Edited October 19, 2023 by zaelu I have solved the problem!
