There a lot of cool Navy Skins missing and it would be awsome if we could get the chance to get some of those via a Skin Contest, just like the Ah64 and the P47 Thanks

I'd rather see contests like this for aircrafts that are not so blessed, like the Mosquito, Anton or Dora. Ravacoon Posted April 16, 2022 Author Posted April 16, 2022 Skins ingame can be seen by anyone in MP. Userfile Skins can´t. And ofc we can get Skin-Contest for every aircraft. Most of the work is done by the community anyways, so not that much work for ED
Dragon1-1 Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 I think that we mostly got what we need. Given how much storage space DCS currently takes up, and the fact that an SSD is mandatory for it, I'd prefer that they don't add too many textures into the modules themselves.

Expand TBH: there are fictional Skins like Turkish / and English F/A-18 Skins but not one real Hi-Vis US Navy Skin. I checked the size of the Files: 5 Hornet Skins take arround 68MB of Data (Arround 11MB per Skin). Thats nothing tbh. Edited April 17, 2022 by Ravacoon 1
28270 Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 +1 This would be nice if it served to replace and improve existing liveries. There are independent users who have shown to improve what is present. If a painting is better than the current one, I see no reason not to add it to the general library in place of the old one.
